It is my goal to create beautiful, classic spaces that are equally functional and representative of the people who call them their own – because how a space makes you feel matters.

I was raised in the Deep South, spent my childhood summers visiting family in Guatemala, lived nearly a decade in California, and have an intense love for the English Countryside.  Each of these places has influenced my style in its own unique way.

I established Ellen Godfrey Design in 2015 and have worked extensively in both residential and commercial design. Commercially, I specialize in retail and visual merchandising. I love working in both worlds. It is all about creating a space the client is proud to call their own.
